Giving opportunity to explore one's interest
The After School Program provides options to children that they usually do not explore in their academic environment. Children are encouraged to pick a skill and develop it - be it interested in arts, sports, a new language, painting, quizzes, or simply learning new concepts. This helps in building a child's confidence as they learn new skills and interact with others their varying interests.
Improving social skills
Children often spend too much time using technology after school. Interactive with a peer gives them the opportunity to leave that habit. After-School Program offers time to engage with others, improving social skills as they process self-regulation skills, learn team sport development along with teaching healthy relationship skills. To this children, obviously reducing the screen time.
